Who we are
After the first three editions of "Vinessum" - an event born in 2014 from an idea by Andrea Marchetti - in 2016 a new collaboration is born between Andrea Marchetti and Blu Nautilus, both in the continuation of Vinessum, and in the realization of a further event at the Fiera di Faenza (Ravenna) Italy: "Back to the Wine" (Return to Wine - in the sense of a craft production and not "homologated" - according to tradition).
Passionate about wine for twenty years, Andrea Marchetti lives between Emilia and Romagna, territories he particularly loves, not only because of his native land, but also for the important historical, cultural, gastronomic and enological richness.
Started by simple curiosity, his continuous desire to explore and "thirst" for knowledge of the wine world push him to tackle a long journey by frequenting the most disparate communities of enthusiasts.
Initially it follows a "classic" path, earning the AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) diploma, participating for two years in the tasting panel for the Marche region for a famous guide and collaborating as an editor for three years with a known blog, for which the last work is the poster of the #nogomma wine.
After approaching any type of drink obtained from grapes, from the supermarket brick to the rarer oenological gem, he realizes that wine cannot be just an object to punctuate on a guide or participate in competitions.
He increasingly considers wine as the son of an agricultural act in the vineyard and a "creative" act in the cellar and consequently approaches the world of "natural" and artisanal wine, to small productions in an environmentally sustainable environment.
Since 2013 he has been managing the Faenza Provincial Exhibition Center, but the company has thirty years of experience in organizing fairs and events: a long and continuous company path that demonstrates its entrepreneurial ability, reliability and flexibility. The skills of Blu Nautilus arise from experience, strategic and creative capacity and constant updating.
In every situation he studies personalized proposals, in the format and in the communication: the projects are developed not only by constant observation of the present, but also by the ability to foresee future trends.
Every activity of Blu Nautilus is oriented to the realization of events that meet the expectations of exhibitors and the public, following the path of quality and encouraging collaboration with local authorities, associations and companies for the development of new or existing projects.
In the summer of 2016 the meeting with Andrea Marchetti - from which the idea of Back to the Wine was born to present an event dedicated to wine at the Faenza Fair with a format far from the logic of the mainstream.
